Friday, December 5: Lights on Rice Parade. A fun parade with the community lighting up themselves or their vehicles to celebrate the arrival of the Holiday Season. Parade starts at 6 p.m. The parade route starts at the Vidinha Stadium in Lihue and travels up Rice Street to the Historic County Building. For information call (808) 639-6571.

Saturday, June 13: King Kamehameha Celebration. Fabulous Floral Parade event with traditional Pa`u riders representing each island and Hawaiian organizations in full regalia. Parade starts at the Vidinha Stadium near the airport at 9 a.m., continues up Rice Street to the County's Historical Building Lawn where there will be entertainment, crafts, demonstrations and lots of food and fun. 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. For information call (808) 635-7205. Saturday, June 11:  The Kings Celebration & Parade. Fabulous Floral Parade starts at 9 a.m. from Vidinha Stadium, Lihue. Full Pa`u Units (horse riders), floats, walking & riding units, Royal Hawaiian Societies and Kings Court.
