Nahko & Medicine for the People.
  Nahko is an Oregon native born, a mix of Puerto Rican, Native American, and Filipino bloodlines. Disillusioned by the world around him and inspired by vagabond, Americana musicians and storytellers like Conor Oberst and Bob Dylan, Nahko left home as a teenager in search of adventure and self-discovery.  Nahko describes his music as a mix of hip hop and folk rock with a world message.  Maui Arts & Cultural Center, Yokouchi Pavilion & Courtyard, One Cameron Way, Kahului.  7:30 p.m., gates open at 6 p.m.  For tickets and information call (808) 242-7469 or visit www.mauiarts.org.
