King Kamehameha Day in Hilo

Tuesday, June 11: 
King Kamehameha Day in Hilo.  Events will be at Moku Ola, Coconut Island, right off Bayfront Drive next to the Hilo Hawaiian Hotel. The festival kicks off at 9 a.m. with the opening ceremony, followed by a conch shell blowing contest for all ages. Enjoy traditional Hawaiian music with hula by various halau (hula schools). The festival will have traditional arts and crafts and food.
