  His debut album came out on David Geffen’s Asylum Records in 1972. Since then, Browne has released 14 studio albums and 4 collections of live performances. He has sold well over 18 million albums and he has written and recorded such popular favorites as “These Days,” “The Pretender,” “Running on Empty,” “Lawyers in Love,” “Doctor My Eyes,” “Take It Easy,” “For a Rocker,” and “Somebody’s Baby.” His most recent studio album, “Standing in the Breach,” is a collection of ten songs, at turns deeply personal and political, exploring love, hope, and defiance in the face of the advancing uncertainties of modern life.   Maui Arts & Cultural Center, Castle Theater, One Cameron Way, Kahului.  7:30 p.m. For tickets and information call (808) 242-7469 or visit http://www.mauiarts.org/.
