42^nd Annual Waimea Town Celebration: Heritage of Aloha. King Kaumuali`i Celebration. A cultural presentation of hula and mele by Ka Pa Hula o Hinano, honoring Kaua`i’s last king, Kaumuali`i (1778-1824). Hawaiian Plate prepared by Kilohana Canoe Club. Fresh flower leis available for sale by the Kupuna Klub. Historic Waimea Theater, 9691 Kaumuali`i Hwy., Waimea. 5 to 8 p.m. Admission is $30 per person.
