Eo e Emalani I Alakai Festival. 
Kaua`i’s mountain forest echoes with the sounds of Hawaiian music and traditional chants at this free annual festival, mist or shine. Step back in time, when a traditional royal procession arrives at 11 a.m.. “Queen Emma” and her entourage enter the lovely Kanaloahuluhulu Meadow on horseback, accompanied by hula halau performing chants and dances honoring the Queen. Enjoy exhibits, craft demonstrations, and snack sales.  Koke`e State Park, 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.  Free admission, donations accepted at the Kokee Museum.  Parking is limited; carpooling is recommended.
