E Kanikapila Kakou 2020 – “Hula, Mele & Moolelo” featuring John Mahi, Kawaiola Yaris and Bronson Aiwohi (Oiwi or Native Sons). John Mahi, Kawaiola Yaris and Bronson Aiwohi, three Kauai artists make up the group Oiwi or Native Sons. They delivered such a fun night in 2019 that EKK audience requested them back. This year John Mahi, known for his smooth and effortless falsetto, will introduce new and upcoming falsetto singers as part of the program. Introducing new talent is a big part of the EKK platform; this will be another exciting way to top off the 2020 season.
All EKK gigs are held in the Jasmine Ballroom of the Kauai Beach Resort from 6:00 to 9:00 p.m. A suggested donation in the calabash of $10 -$15 treats you to an unforgettable evening of aloha from the heart.
A no-host bar and food concession in the ballroom operates throughout the event. All EKK events are open to the public.
