Throughout the Month of June:
Dinosaurs Unleashed Exhibit. Marvel at replicas of some of the fearsome giant reptiles of the Mesozoic. Interactive stations and activities will highlight how these animals flourished in their respective environments. Enjoy hands-on experience in a dinosaur dig, create colorful bone imprints, and control a robotic dinosaur skeleton, just like those featured in the exhibit. Fun for all ages. Open Cockpit Day. Climb into the cockpit of an historic aircraft, talk story with pilots, and snap a photograph with an aviator in period attire. Waikiki Artfest

Waikiki Artfest. Event features approximately 75-100 fine artists and handcraft artisans who display their own art for sale including jewelry of all types, clothing, wood products, stained glass, ceramics, soaps and candles, bags, quilts, lauhala products. 22nd Annual World Fireknife Championships & We Are Samoan Cultural Arts Festival. The world’s most talented fireknife dancers come together at the Polynesian Cultural Center in four nights of heated competition. Fireknife dancers from as young as six years old to the most experienced and celebrated performers will compete in their respective divisions for the chance to win the coveted title of World Fireknife Champion. Attendees will be treated to a cultural experience unlike any other, and the best of the best will be crowned a World Champion in both Junior and Senior Divisions.  At the High School Samoan Cultural Arts Festival, students from across Hawai`i will demonstrate their knowledge of Samoan culture by competing in a series of traditional practices including protocol and speech making, basket weaving, coconut husking and fire making, costuming, poise, dance movements and interpretation. Filipino Fiesta & Flores de Mayo Festival Week. Celebrate this weeklong celebration highlighting the wondrous and colorful culture of the Philippines.
