Friday, December 30: 
Benefit Night for the Birds.  Join the Maui Forest Bird Recovery Project (MFBRP) for a night of pints at the Maui Brewing Company, Kahana Gateway Shopping Center, 4405 Honoapiilani Hwy., Lahaina.  The Brewery will donate half of the night’s pint sales to the recovery of Maui’s endangered forest bird species. Generations: Kekuhi Keali’ikanaka’ole.  Na Hoku Hanohano Award Winner Kekuhi Kanahele is a daughter, wife, mother, educator, scholar, dancer, musician, vocalist, composer, cultural leader, powerful role model, tita! A product of her culture, Kekuhi’s music demonstrates what it means to be Hawaiian today. Steve Miller Band and Dave Mason Concert.  One of rock music’s all-time greats, the Steve Miller Band returns to Maui for a concert. Steve Miller and his trademark blues-rock sound is one of the defining figures of the classic rock movement.  Dave Mason was inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame as a founding member of the group Traffic.
