Keola Beamer – Malama Ko Aloha.  Keola Beamer’s reputation as a composer, arranger, guitarist and vocalist continues to achieve new heights with his work as one of the composer-performers on the Oscar-nominated film, The Descendants. The music featured in this once-in-a-lifetime concert is inspired by the nationally televised PBS Hawai‘i special Keola Beamer: Mālama Ko Aloha (Keep Your Love). Joining Keola on stage are: his dear friend, R. EA Sports Maui Invitational

EA Sports Maui Invitational.  The EA Sports Maui Invitational celebrates its 29th year as the nation’s premier early-season college basketball tournament and as the kick-off to the college basketball season. The 2012 Championship Round field includes Butler, Illinois, Marquette, Mississippi State, North Carolina, Texas, USC and host Chaminade. All 12 games will be broadcast on ESPN networks. On Ensemble.  Infusing the powerful rhythms of ensemble Japanese drumming with elements of hip-hop, rock and electronica, the band’s unique sound has been praised as “completely original.” On Ensemble is supported by one of Japan’s most important traditional-culture bearers, Miyamoto Unosuke Shoten, instrument maker to the emperor.
