Assistance Dogs of Hawaii’s Valentine’s Benefit Event. Assistance Dogs of Hawaii’s Annual Valentine’s Benefit Event will be held on Saturday, February 22nd at The Four Seasons Wailea. Enjoy a fabulous 3-course dinner while you listen to inspiring speakers. Delight in music by Maui’s own, Derick Sebastian and browse our silent auction. Meet some of our “puppies in training” as they share their puppy love with our guests at our “Puppy Kissing Booth”. Kim Gennaula and Guy Hagi will emcee this special event. Tickets are $175.00 and tables of 10 are $1,750.00. We invite you to support a life-changing, Hawaii-based charitable organization 501 (c)(3).Proceeds raised at the Valentine’s Event will help Assistance Dogs of Hawaii provide Assistance Dogs, free of charge, to residents of Hawaii for people with physical disabilities and other special needs. This is a special year for Assistance Dogs of Hawaii as they celebrate their 20th anniversary. Since its inception in 2000, Assistance Dogs of Hawaii has graduated over 100 Service Dogs for children and adults with physical disabilities and other special needs. In addition to placing Service Dogs for people with physical disabilities, ADH places Hospital Facility Dogs like Samson at Kapi’olani Medical Center, Ipo at the Queen’s Medical Center and Angel at Straub Medical Center. ADH also places Courthouse Dogs at Prosecutor’s Offices around the state, helping children who are victims of crime through the difficult legal process.
