97th Annual King Kamehameha Celebration Floral Parade and Ho`olaulea.  This colorful celebration honors the reign of King Kamehameha, who was responsible for uniting the Hawaiian Islands under his rule in 1795. Starting at the King Kamehameha Statue in downtown Honolulu across from Iolani Palace and ending at Queen Kapiolani Park, Ho`olaulea events to follow from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.  Iolani Palace, 364 S.
