42nd Annual Paniolo Parade and Honouliuli

Saturday, September 16: 
42nd Annual Paniolo Parade and Honouliuli. 
The parade will start at 10 a.m. at Waimea Cherry Blossom Park, Church Rd., Waimea, and proceed to Waimea Park, featuring princesses on horseback with attendees (complete with “Pooper Scooper” brigades!), decorated with the flowers of their respective islands. The Royal Court will also be present, along with local hula halau and more. The Parade is followed by a ho`olaulea, with one of the best crafts show of the year, featuring island foods, games, arts & crafts, Hawaiian products and live Hawaiian musical entertainment in Waimea Ballpark until 4 p.m. This is a drug and alcohol free event. Slack Key Guitar Concerts.
  Traditional Hawaiian slack key guitar and `ukulele concerts.  September 6 – Island of Peace; September 13 – In the Real Old Style; September 20 – Sea Turtle Serenade; September 27 – Hawai`i’s Sunset Music.
