August 2 – Legends of Slack Key Guitar & Ukulele; August 9 – Honoring Raymond Kane; August 16 – Traditional Hawaiian Slack Key; August 23 –Hawai`i’s Sunset Music; August 30 – Poina Ole – Never to be Forgotten. The concerts are nahenahe – soft and sweet.  Slack key guitar and `ukulele in the real old style.  All traditional music with songs and stories of the islands, telling the history of this Hawaiian musical art form. Kanikapila with Wes Awana and Friends. Kanikapila jam sessions are held on Monday evenings, from 5:30 – 7:00 p.m. and are open to all musicians.  Bring your own instrument and enjoy ‘garage style’ jamming.  Held in the Great Room of the Admin Building, Volcano Art Center, Niaulani Campus, Volcanoes National Park. “Opera on the Rocks”

Kaua`i Hospice Concert in the Sky

Kaua`i Hospice Concert in the Sky. Celebrate Independence Day with the local cultural experiences of music and hula. This is the largest aerial fireworks event on Kaua`i on the 4th of July.
