King Kamehameha Day Community Parade. A beautiful floral parade on Ali’i Drive in Kailua Village honoring the great Hawaiian monarch. King Kamehameha Celebration

King Kamehameha Celebration – Maui. The festivities will take place at 9 a.m. at Kamehameha Iki Park, 505 Front Street, Lahaina. The parade will begin at 9:45 a.m. from Kenui St. down Front St. to Shaw St. Following the parade is a ho’okupu ceremony at Moku’ula Ahu. The ho’olaulea will include exhibits and tours by Friends of Moku’ula, Hui O Waa Kaulua, Makahiki Games with Kula Kaiapuna ma Nahienaena, a pau awards presentation, food booths, Maui made crafters and entertainment. King Kamehameha Day Celebration (North Kohala). Celebrate Kamehameha Day this year at the birthplace of the King Kamehameha I. Early-morning ceremony and lei-draping 8-9 a.m. at King Kamehameha I original statue, followed by a floral parade 9-10 a.m. from the North Kohala Resource Center to the statue. Pa’u Queen, colorful pa’u princesses, and floats. Ho’olaulea festivities at Kamehameha Park in Kapa’au 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Food booths, exhibits, and stage entertainment are planned for that event. Kokua Kailua Hulihe’e Palace Concert Series & Village Stroll

Kokua Kailua Hulihe’e Palace Concert Series & Village Stroll. One Sunday each month from 1:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m., Ali’i Drive along scenic Kailua Bay in Kailua-Kona becomes a festive pedestrian-only walkway. Enjoy music, artists, merchants and restaurants.
