The Legend of Ko`olau.  By Gary T. Kubota. A historical drama about the life of Kaluaiko‘olau, a Hawaiian cowboy and ‘outlaw’. In this one-man play — as seen through the eyes of Ko`olau — a courageous story unfolds about a Hawaiian family on Kauai fighting for their rights amidst the chaos and loss of Hawaiian sovereignty in 1893. It is a tale of love and survival against all odds. Premiere! Helping Paws Visitor Volunteer Program

Every Wednesday and Thursday: 
Helping Paws Visitor Volunteer Program.  Do you miss your pet when traveling? Visitors can offer a “helping paw” to homeless animals at the Maui Humane Society shelter 1 to 4 p.m. doing such activities as walking dogs, bathing puppies, brushing cats, or playing with puppies and kittens.  Arrive by 1 p.m. and wear close-toed shoes and comfortable clothing that you don’t mind getting dirty.
