Never content to create anything less than a perfect work of art, Wyland enlisted one of his favorite collaborators, Jim Warren, to share the canvas once again in this sequel to their prior collaboration on “The Littlest Mermaid.” Famous for his portraits, Jim Warren applies his unique style of magical surrealism above the water. The effect is nothing short of dazzling. “I’ve had many years to reflect on how I would want to recreate this scene,” Wyland says. “I like to think of it as a gift to the millions of people who even today still consider the sea a place of wonder and magic.”
