Kona Brewers Festival

Kona Brewers Festival.
  Top chefs from some of the Big Island’s favorite restaurants will offer their best food pairings, ranging from fresh fish and smoked meats to deep fried avocados and tropical sweets, served up fresh on a banana leaf plate against a backdrop of passing paddle boards and canoes at the historic Kamakahonu Bay Beach. Live music and entertainment includes the must-see Trash Fashion Show, a performance that highlights creative fashions made entirely from recycled material. The Festival will sell tickets for two sessions – the Afternoon Delight from Noon to 3 p.m. and the Sunset Session from 4:30 to 7:30 p.m. Tickets are $75 and include craft brew samplings from 40 Hawai`i and the mainland US breweries and unlimited samplings of a wide variety of local food.
