Thursday – Sunday, June 1 – July 3: 
60^th Annual Makawao Rodeo.  Thursday & Friday: 9 a.m., free admission -Qualifying Runs, all day. Bull Bash at 7 p.m. on Friday, $15 adults.  Saturday & Sunday: 1 p.m., Rodeo (bull-riding, team-roping, calf-roping, bronc riding, mugging, barrel racing, break-away). Live band after Rodeo on Saturday.  Saturday & Sunday rodeo admission is $10 adults, $5 for seniors and students, free admission for kids 10 and under. Free shuttle Saturday to and from town to watch the parade. Oskie Rice Arena, Olinda.

Thursday, June 30: 
Hawaiian Music Series.  Relax under the stars and enjoy a free concert featuring local musicians. Chairs are limited and blankets, mats, and low beach chairs are welcome.
