Duke’s Oceanfest 2015. The annual event is held at venue sites throughout Waikiki, featuring Longboard Surfing, Paddleboard Racing, Swimming, Tandem Surfing, Surf Polo, Beach Volleyball, and more. Held each summer in Waikiki in honor of Hawaiian Duke Paoa Kahanamoku, who is remembered as the greatest waterman who ever lived, and Hawai`i’s ambassador of Aloha. Saturday, August 22:
Xterra Adventure Fest. An Off-Road Adventure event on the island of Maui featuring an Off-Road Triathlon and Trail Runs, consisting of a .5 mile swim, 10 mile mountain bike and 5k run. In addition to the triathlon, there will be a 5k and 10k trail run and a Keiki 2k run. There is something in this event for everyone, from extreme adult athletes, to casual runners, and even kids. Qualifying spots for the XTERRA World Championship Race will be awarded to top finishers of the Triathlon Event.
