Kaua`i Hospice Concert in the Sky

Kaua`i Hospice Concert in the Sky. Celebrate Independence Day with the local cultural experiences of music and hula. This is the largest aerial fireworks event on Kaua`i on the 4th of July. Kekaha 4th of July Celebration Event. Enjoy cultural demonstration, exhibits, variety of crafts, a plantation museum and lots of fun game booths and rides for the keiki. Enjoy local entertainment throughout the day, along with contests, talent show, local style food, and more. The day ends with a spectacular fireworks display, accompanied by live patriotic music. 4th of July Celebration at Ala Moana Center. This free show will begin at 8:30 p.m. Spectators can tune in to FM 92.3 KSSK for a live soundtrack that accompanies the show. The Obon tradition was brought to Hawai`i by Japanese immigrants and evolved into a social and cultural event, as well as a religious custom designed to honor ancestors through an evening of dance, music and merry-making. Annual Makawao Paniolo Parade. Enjoy this colorful Hawaiian style small town Wild West parade in Makawao, along Makawao and Baldwin Avenues. 8:45 a.m: Stick Horse Race (everyone is welcome to participate). 9 to 11 a.m: Parade. There will be no parking in town.
