Slack Key Guitar Concerts. Traditional Hawaiian slack key guitar and `ukulele concerts. Dessert Fantasy 2014. Along with all the decadent desserts, there will be entertainment, a silent auction and voting by the public for the best 2014 dessert. Anuhea. Born on the island of Maui, music has been in Anuhea’s family for generations. Her father is from the surfing culture of Haleiwa, on the North Shore of Oahu. His younger sister, Nalani, is part of the award winning contemporary Hawaiian music trio, Na Leo Pilimehana. Anuhea’s mother, an Oregon native, comes from a musical family as well; her father is a jazz and blues guitarist. Anuhea will play with a full backup.   Kahilu Theatre, 67-118 Lindsey Rd., Kamuela.
