Okinawan Festival. The event kicks off with a mini procession inside Kapiolani Park featuring a taiko drum performance. The three-day festival at Kapiolani Park celebrates Okinawan culture with food, entertainment, arts, crafts, and cultural activities. Kapiolani Park, 2748 Monsarrat Ave., Honolulu. Hawaiian Slack Key Guitar Festival “Kona Style”. A live music festival that features some of Hawai`i’s finest artists/musicians in the slack key guitar genre. Experience the various styles of slack key guitar as well as vocal music.
