Kokua Kailua Hulihe`e Palace Concert Series & Village Stroll.  Ali`i Drive along scenic Kailua Bay in Kailua-Kona becomes a festive pedestrian-only walkway from 1 to 6 p.m. Enjoy music, artists, merchants and restaurants. At 4 p.m., there is a free Hawaiian music concert on the lawn at Hulihe`e Palace. Sunday, April 13: 
Duke Kahanamoku Beach Challenge.  The event kicks off with a double-hulled canoe procession, an oli (chant) and Kahiko (ancient hula and song) by the Kamehameha Schools Hawaiian Ensemble class.  Events feature a 1/4 mile canoe sprint race in Duke’s Beach, Ancient Hawaiian Makahiki land games (the public is invited to participate for a donation to WCC), which include Huki Kaula (Hawaiian Tug-of-War), SUP Paddle Races in Rainbow Lagoon, Canoe Glide Demonstration in Rainbow Lagoon and Duke Beach. Live entertainment featuring Jake Shimabukuro and Henry Kapono and more.
