Garden Isle Artisan Fair, “Under the Big Tent!”  Christmas Shop early from a great selection of items from over 40 of Kaua`i’s  finest Artisans.  Photography, jewelry, aloha wear, palm bark baskets, wood carvings,  photo albums,  pounded mulberry bark, local fruit jellies and sauces, soaps, candles, original oil paintings, table linens, and much more. Old Koloa Sugar Mill Run

Old Koloa Sugar Mill Run.  Kaua`i’s premier 5-K, 10-K, Half Marathon Runs, and non-competitive 5-K Walk. New this year is a Half Marathon. The Half Marathon will start at 7:00 a.m.; the 10-K run will start at 7:15 a.m.; and the 5-K run and walk will start at 7:30 a.m. The run will include a continental breakfast and choice of T-shirt or Tank top. Breakfast will be served as the first finishers arrive at about 8:00 a.m. The winners will be announced at about 9:30. The Legend of Ko`olau.  By Gary T. Kubota. A historical drama about the life of Kaluaiko‘olau, a Hawaiian cowboy and ‘outlaw’. In this one-man play — as seen through the eyes of Ko`olau — a courageous story unfolds about a Hawaiian family on Kauai fighting for their rights amidst the chaos and loss of Hawaiian sovereignty in 1893.
