ACS’s Relay for Life – Hanapepe Event.  This is an incredible fund and friend raiser for Kauai’s American Cancer Society that is part concert, part dance-mania, and all about honoring those who have moved on from cancer and those that still survive the fight. Currently slated are The Quake, Revival and Second Nature. Artists in Action. The Volcano Village Artists Hui presents a day of art demonstrations and hands on activities. Activities include demonstrations of wheel thrown pottery & Japanese paste paper, and hands on activities. VSAS students will be selling artwork and homemade cookies, there will be samples of Volcano grown teas to taste, as well as native plants for sale, all to benefit the school art program.
