Matsuri Kauai.  The Kauai Japanese Cultural Society will be celebrating this year’s festivities with Karaoke singers, dancers, martial arts, drumming, kimon kitsuke for adults as well as children, bento sales, origami, oshibana, musubi madness contest, mochi pounding, mini bon dance, tea ceremony, bonsai, jorei and flower circle. Na Mea Hawaii Hula Kahiko Performance

Na Mea Hawaii Hula Kahiko Performance.  Kumu Leilehua Yuen and Manu Josiah present a hula kahiko “informance” at the hula platform, plus cultural/craft demonstrations.  This outdoor presentation takes place rain or shine at the hula platform located near VAC Gallery. The audience is encouraged to bring sitting mat and sun/rain gear. Hawai`i Volcanoes National Park.
