42nd Annual Maui Marathon

42nd Annual Maui Marathon.  Recognized as one of the most scenic courses in world with its point-to-point route starting in Kahului, for over 17 breathtaking miles, passing through Lahaina before finishing near The Westin Maui Resort & Spa, race headquarters, in Whalers Village.  The popular Maui Half Marathon features a flat, out-and-back course that traces the final 6.55 miles of the marathon course. Kokua Kailua Hulihe’e Palace Concert Series & Village Stroll

Kokua Kailua Hulihe’e Palace Concert Series & Village Stroll.  One Sunday each month from 1:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m., Ali’i Drive along scenic Kailua Bay in Kailua-Kona becomes a festive pedestrian-only walkway. Enjoy music, artists, merchants and restaurants. At 4:00 p.m., there is a free Hawaiian music concert on the lawn at Hulihe’e Palace.
