Pu’uhonua O Honaunau Annual Cultural Festival

Saturday & Sunday, June 30 & July 1:
Pu’uhonua O Honaunau Annual Cultural Festival. Celebrate the 51st anniversary of the establishment of the park. Experience dozens of craft demonstrations throughout the festival. On Saturday, there will be canoe rides in Honaunau Bay. On Sunday, enjoy Hawaiian food tasting and a hukilau demonstration. Pack a lunch and plenty of drinks and spend a fun filled day at the park and maybe leave with a nose flute, coconut leaf hat, a lei, lauhala bracelet, a hula gourd, or another traditional craft item that you can learn to make at the festival.
