Garden Isle Artisan Fair

Garden Isle Artisan Fair.  More than 40 local artisans showcase an array of handcrafted products from Kauai and throughout Polynesia.  The event offers an opportunity to see the wealth of local talent on the Garden Isle.  Feast on local plate lunches, Shave ice, Smoothies.  Poipu Beach, 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.  Free.  For information call Judy Webb at (808) 245-9021.

Na Mea Hawai`i Hula Kahiko Performance

Na Mea Hawai`i Hula Kahiko Performance.  Featuring Halau Na Pua Ha`aheo O Kona with kumu hula Roy Palacat. This outdoor presentation takes place rain or shine at the hula platform located near VAC Gallery.  10:30 a.m. The audience is encouraged to bring sitting mats and sun/rain gear. On the same day, there are hands-on cultural demonstrations from 9:30 am to 1:30 pm at VAC Gallery porch. Hawai`i Volcanoes National Park. All events are free (donations welcome); park entrance fees apply.

International Garden Island Tri Fest

International Garden Island Tri Fest.  Triathlon Festival to include a Kids Duathlon, Adults Duathlon, Youth Triathlon, Adults Triathlon, and a 5K Fun Run/Walk all on one day  – St. Patrick’s Day.
